The picturesque Valdemars Castle on Tåsinge. It was built by King Christian 4 between 1639 and 1644 for his son, Valdemar Christian. Today it's privately owned and open to the public.

Gråsten Castle, first mentioned in 1648, is one of Queen Margrethe's summer residenses. It was a favorite of her parents', King Frederik and Queen Ingrid.
